I just bought a Starling netbook from System76 and am totally impressed with it's performance and the quick response I got on email support. I downloaded Wifi-radar and I lost my ability to connect to my wifi modem. Email support response was quick though I fixed it myself by restoring the factory settings. I have never experienced such good service.
I read in this forum that the netbook didn't play movies well off of the DVD drive. That turned out to be the case but I had no trouble playing them after removing the copy protection and putting them directly on the hard drive. I use SMPlayer.
