Hello guys.I hope this post is in the right place..if not i'm sorry(i posted this twice already in the wrong places).First i will tell u my sistem since it's a pc problem that occurs in Wow.So:

Processor: AMD Phenom triple-core 2.1 ghz
Memory : 2x2gb DDR 2 800 mhz
Video card : Leadtek GeForce 9600GT 512MB GDDR3, 256bit (drivers updated to the last vesion)
Motherboard : Asus M3N78-CM, Socket AM2/AM2+
Hard disk : HDD Seagate Barracuda 500GB, 7200rpm, SATA, ST3500320AS
Monitor : LCD Acer X193W, 19"
I'm running atm on windows xp.
I'm kinda desperate regarding this issue since i've tried many times to find the problem that is bugging me.The problem appears only in WoW.From time to time, occasionally very often i have lag spikes...but no ordinary ones. After my screen freezes and i can't do nothing my fps have an amazing drop from like 60-70(i went even higer, but that not's the point) to 2/3/4..once they droped to 0.
I was like omg wtf....with this pc it shouldn't act like this.My settings are set to high and this spikes are not due to massive players online(they appear in starting zones where's there no uber details that need to be rendered)..I've tested the same server on another pc(a not so good one i have to say)nothin happened;plus there are times when i have to restart my pc because he freezes up completely.
I've tried anything..even lowering the settings or no addons but still i'm experiencing the same problem.
Maybe i need to do some certain settings...dunno. The help from u will be appreciated.
I've tested my video card with certain programs..all were fine.
If u guys need more details, tell me and i will provide them.

This is a Linux forum mate. Why not try the World of Warcraft Technical support?

From your problem you say you only see a problem in WoW. Have you tried re-installing it?
