Hello,
I recently went thorugh a system update and it updated my kernel. As I forgot about that, I continued to work. I was installing (by building them) the latest v4l-dvb drivers, in order to have my dvb-t stick working. At the end of installation I even installed Kaffeine, a KDE media player that I like. It installed lots of KDE libs, of course. Upon reboot the dvb stick worked but audio not. To be precise I have to say that all comes from the audio card are little noises, very low, but not defintely sound. More like scratches. Before everything was working fine. Is there any way to reconfigure and reset the whole audio subsystem and the audio preferences (as I've been torturing them to get everything back working)?
thank you
