Hi,
My NAS (freenas) is running as a upnp server. However, I don't think that my ubuntu computer is "seeing" the upnp device. Specifically, when I try to browse to a upnp share using xbmc, it does not see any upnp devices on the network. I've tried Rhythmbox and it doesn't see the upnp device either. When I enable daap on Freenas, the daap share works on Rhythmbox. As well, I can map smb shares. So generally speaking the network works. When I boot my windows partition, the upnp device shows up. So I think there is something missing on my ubuntu computer. Do I have to specifically add something to ubuntu for it to see upnp shares?

thanks
