I have a quad boot running on this machine windows 7, vista 64bit utimate edition, XP pro, and ubuntu x64 9.04.

I want to run VM ware or VM box, im used to VMware from windows.

My goal and or question is can i mount and start a VM of the other HDD's that are local hard drives and use them in a vm session? When i was playing with the VM software i could make a new vm on the ubuntu drive but could not figure out how to launch one of my other drives?

any help?

I still cant figure out how to start a VM off a internal HDD that is bookable already on the machine. Can i run a separate hdd thats bookable already as a VM or is this not possible?
