Does anyone know how to get the game to launch in WINE?
It installs correctly , update patch installs correctly and then the game refuses to launch with an error about the game not being installed please install it, and this is with the Original cd in the drive or with the no cd exe.
So i can only assume it has something to do with the drm even people with the steam version have this problem too although the listed solutions to fix it doesnt work for me
Yet on the Wine app database the game is listed as playable with some glitches.
On the Good Old Games site the drm free version of the game they sell has been confirmed to work with WINE.
But i'd rather try to fix the 3 cd version i bought in WINE before i decide to pony up and purchase the GOG version.
