hi,

has anyone succesfully installed the following software ?
http://metavid.org/wiki/MetaVidWiki_Software

it's a complete open source portal similar to youtube which uses ogg only
i tried with these instructions with no success on jaunty

Can't say I've tried myself, but with a front page that contains gems like this sentence Metavid is build on many open source projects. I can't say I want to trust their code.

Can you post the error output from your attempted build? That might help people diagnose where things went sour.

succesfully installed it via repo
sudo aptitude install mediawiki-metavidwiki
then i sudo ln -s /usr/share/mediawiki in /var/www
now i have mediawiki installed but can't find metavid extension yet.

i'll let you know
