Hi!

Im going to build a new computer to use in my home studio. I`ve put together a list of hardware, and was hoping you guys could give me some comments. Both on performance, and compatability with ubuntu studio. I am not quite sure whether I should choose intel or amd. What do you think? I was also considering putting in an western digital velociraptor harddrive. Would that increase music production performance? Might be a bit noisy?
All thoughts are appreciated!
Btw I am planning to use my firewire edirol fa-66 soundcard
