As the topic states my fathers HP Omnibook XT6200 "hangs" after loading display manager. I've tried installing Ubuntu 7.04 (which worked just fine, but is out of date, so I can't do any updates and installing on it)/8.04 (not working after dipslay manager load)/8.10 (not working after dipslay manager load)/9.04 (not working after dipslay manager load), Kubuntu 8.04 (not working after dipslay manager load)/8.10 (not working after dipslay manager load)/9.04 (not working after dipslay manager load), Xubuntu 9.04 (not working after dipslay manager load), EEEbuntu 9.04 (working, but with wrong resolution and very long boot time). The problem is, that as the display manager loads PC hangs. In most distroes it doesn't load till end. We've tried latest Knoppix and Debian versions. Same problem too, just we can move mouse around, but with like 1 FPS. Very old version of Knoppix (like 3.5 or so) works just fine. What should we do?
