Hi,
Could someone tell me where i can find a good free database or inventory program for inventory of store items? Thanks. Dale

Hi,
assuming you're looking for something with a graphical frontend, then openoffice.org Base is one thats pretty easy to use.
If on the other hand you're looking for a database app to serve as a backend to another application, then mysql & postgresql are two of the more common ones.

Hi,
Thanks for the replies. I want to use it to inventory items that we have on hand to be sold in the store. I would like for it to be graphical, but yet simple, so i can teach my wife to use it also. Thanks again.

MySQL, especially, MySQL administrator .. If you know the basics ( really, there's only a few keywords you should know before you can start working with it ), it's a piece of cake :)

Do you want to create you own or have something preset up?

Gambas is a front end for databases that allows you to create your own.

Several simple python programs exist. ( quick search in google - I am sure you can find more) You can then modify them for what you want:
