Sometimes after an Ubuntu update, I have to reload System76 Drivers, because aspects of my video do not work, usually flash. Is that normal? I'm not complaining. I have Kubuntu 8.04 on a T61p, and periodic downloads toast my sound.

I wouldn't consider it abnormal, especially if the kernel was updated.

I would consider it very abnormal, as the System76 driver won't do anything for a Thinkpad! :lolflag:
It is designed to add the appropriate drivers to System76 machines.

I was using Thinkpad as an example. That is I have updated 8.04 regularly (nothing to do with System76 drivers), but do not keep losing flash video.\

Thanks. Makes sense.
