Hey everyone I am in dire need of some assistance from someone who understands the ins and outs of Wine better than I apparently do

I am working on this computer for my wife, who is new to Ubuntu....the only 3 things in the world she cares about is email, internet, and "HER" game - Duotris

This is obviously a windowz version game and I cant seem to make it run in Wine
If I attach the game here as a .gz can someone try it on theirs and tell me how/if they can make it run????? Oh the .gz is way to big 4megs...here si a link!

THANKS!!

Perhaps you could show her some of the tetris clones that's avaible for linux and make her try them out for awhile.

Block Attack - Raise of the Blocks (http://sourceforge.net/project/screenshots.php?group_id=149110)
Blocks 3D (http://blocks3d.sourceforge.net/)
Crack Attack (http://www.aluminumangel.org/attack/)
Ltetris (http://lgames.sourceforge.net/)

Many more here: http://happypenguin.org/list?&sort=title&search=tetris

I tried using the latest wine from winehq, and in console, this game makes calls to DirectX 9 that are not implemented in wine yet. As an example: fixme:d3d:IWineD3DImpl_GetDeviceCaps Caps support for directx9 is nonexistent at the moment!

Sorry.:( :(
