Hey,
I just got this old laptop out and installed Ubuntu 8.04 on it. I've used this laptop in the past to go out to my TV and watch movies on the big screen.
I connect using the RGB setting on the TV and a VGA cable with an audio in from the headphone jack on the computer. It works that way with Windows.
I've tried to look in the screen resolution settings, but I only get one monitor to show up. My TV is not recognizing the computer as a line in.
