I am about 2 weeks into my linux experience and loving it. ( Vista can burn in hell :p ) I have seen many cool themes for the desktop availible and my favorite ones require a program called murrine. I cannot find a (sudo) command thingy to get my computer to dwnload the operating program all i get is a file package from the website with a bunch of files. How do i install them using terminal? The release of murrine that i am using is 0.90.3 from the website. please help

Easiest way to install murrine is to use the synaptic package manager.

Open Syanptic and then in the search bar type ..Murrine

Mark the the following.

murrine-themes
gt2k-engines-murrine

Click on Apply in the synaptic manager and watch it install

hope that helps
