Is the current download of 9.04 the initial release that had the r/w errors?

Did you try to install and have errors? If so, what happened?

When you burn the ISO disk you should burn at 4x speed to help keep the quality of the image.

Let us know what is going on so we can offer you help.

no.

I am reffering to a know bug, and asking if there was a change in 9.04's iso to address this.

I would say at least 99 percent of the bugs have been fixed since then. The fix may not be included in the ISO unless it was a critical bug. If it was a minor bug, it would be repaired when you do your first update. Being that Ubuntu Jaunty is using a different kernel since the release, I am sure those problems are fixed.

you could just say, "I don't know."

You could just ask the question you want answered. Which bug has you feeling down?

I have installed Jaunty several times with different ISOs and they have all worked.

Maybe you should post a question on that thread and see what you find out. I didn't see a post about r/w there.
