Skype mic not working...

Hi folks,

I have successfully installed Skype 2.0 onto NBR on my EEE 900A, and I can get playback in my headphones, but my headset mic will not work!

I found under Volume Control from the Systray that the Recording tab has Mic muted, whenever I un-mute it and close the dialog box, it automatically mutes it again the next time I open it!

Ideas please folks!

Is your headset connected by USB or normal headphone+mic plugs?

It it's connected with USB it's actually soundcard of it's own, so you'll have to make sure you are controlling the mic level of the correct device and not your computer's microphone..

Thanks for the reply, nope it's got the standard 3.5mm connections in green/pink to go straight into my mobo sound card...
