Is it possible blink the activity light on an sd device

I have an environment with many Dell Servers (1650-2950's). We opted to not purchase PERC cards, and instead use pure SAS (and in some cases SATA) controllers.

Is it possible to manually cause the activity light to blink so that remote hands might be better at replacing the correct drive in the event of a drive failure?
