Cedega Optimized Kernel

I was wondering if anybody has tinkered with optimizing their kernel for game play with Cedega.

There is a forum thread on Transgaming's forums about it.

I am probably going to start tinkering with this, but was wondering if anybody has already tried and could provide some helpful hints or a tutuorial.

If it's for gaming, the nitro patchset it also quite good. http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-401300.html is the one I use, however, have a new one now. http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-423251.html for 2.6.15, but I attempt to avoid kernels ending in odd numbers. On the other hand, I heared the new version is even snappier.
