I have a usb gamepad and an xbox 360 wired controller...

Is there like a control panel / joystick config for ubuntu? If so where or how do I access it... I can't find one.

Yeah... think that Ubuntu has the xpad driver built-in so you're good for your xbox controller. I've never seen a gnome joystick calibrator though. I use KDE which has a built in one (not much help here, I know). There is a command line one that works pretty good that's part of the jscalibrator package that I think is called jscal. Run 'man jscal' to take a look on how to run it.

There is a joystick calibration application called jscalibrator (or Joystick Calibration), you can find it in the repo's.

I used when I was on Hardy, but didn't find it particularly useful, never really had the need to use it for my joystick.
