for some reason when I open up the appearance preferences and go to customize my icons I am seeing two folders called Oxygen. Is it always that way? if not how do I delete it?

Icons, themes and things

One of the best things about Linux is the ability to customize look and feel of your visual experience. Everything from moving your panels around to their transparency and desktop background can changed at will.

The gnome-art package allows you to install a huge variety of icons and window border themes. the comix cursor package installs an animated selection of cursors. All of which can be selected via System > Preferences > Appearance. Themes can be saved and changed at will. The combinations are endless.

Have fun
