How can I use my touch sensor buttons on a SONY VAIO

Hey, I can't use some buttons on my laptop, I've been looking on how to make them work but haven't seen anything. The buttons are for the webcam or to put play or pause when you are watching videos, hope you can help me, thanks.

i have the same problem but the thing is it is detacted as a touch pad by ubuntu and it disables my touch pad when ever i touch the volume sensor... please help guys
