you can either terminal wineconfig or hit applications then wine then hit config after you have installed :)

It's very hard to understand what you want to change about Wine.

Yes, you want to play games - but what specific settings do you want to change? Doesn't Wine work in its default configuration? Have you tried installing Play On Linux and using that to run your games with Wine?

If the problem is one of poor game performance, that's most likely a video driver issue and not something you can "fix" in Wine. If you have an ATI card/chipset and it's not one of the newer "HD" series, you can't even install an improved video driver because none exist that work with Ubuntu 9.04 for the older legacy cards/chipsets.

Furthermore, if you've only installed Wine to run MS Windows games, you're most likely to be very disappointed with the results.

also my videos are not running at full screen they usually hangs the pc
or gives a black screen

generally wine is not made for games. You can get commercial apps that are made cpecifically for gaming but then again they are not free. Unless... (Do you by any chance like torrents?)
