Hi,

I started using a Starling Netbook yesterday, and I am having a problem. It is possibly caused by the fact that in "Preferences", I switched the desktop style to the standard one, with everything at the top, instead of the one that it comes with, with everything at each side. When I turned on the machine this morning and signed in, I simply see a blank desktop, with no bar at the top.

Any idea what to do? One thing I would like to do would be to try and get into Preferences and switch back to the other style to see if that helps, but I can't reach Preferences because there is no bar at the top. Does anyone know a way to get into it without being able to click on it? Or to get into the terminal?

Thanks.

Okay, an update. You can enter the terminal by way of selecting it from the session choices when you log in. Does anyone know how I could switch back to the previous desktop style(or whatever it is called) from the terminal?

Problem solved!

Command: "Desktop-switcher".
