Hi folkz,

I am using Ubuntu 9.10 Alpha 5 and I got a big problem concerning Amarok and VLC. To cut a long story shot: It's not working ;-). Well, both of the applications simply don't start any more. Trying to start them out of the command-line results in nothing. There is no output neither by VLC nor Amarok, but the coresponding processes are startet. Both of them remain in the state "futex_wait_queue_me". I tried waiting for some hours, but the state wouldn't change and the application didn't start either. I would be pleased if someone had an idea how to solve this problem. As futex is used for locking and unlocking purposes during software developement, I asume the software is responsible for the problem.
