August 18th, 2009, 06:59 PM
Hey guys, I'm looking to get a cheap, No OS system for my kid and was looking at this one (http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4899881&CatId=2663) Can anyone tell me if it looks to be compatible with Ubuntu, I would hate to get it and have problems installing.
Thanks in advance,

Anybody Else have any more input on this?

it looks to me like it'd be fine. Besides, why would a company sell a no-OS system that couldn't run Linux? I mean, most people who order systems without an operating system are usually doing it just to run Linux.. I guess.
But yeah, that thing's awesome for the price. I'd like to have one myself, lol. :P
