That's really strange, I have Vista on my computer, and when some time ago I measured how long it takes to boot, and how long Ubuntu takes to boot, Vista was noticeably faster.

i bet you will find that google caches the most typed in phrases hence this is why it brings this stuff up

if you have no issues you dont go hunting thru google to find a place to brag about your excitment of anything working and tell the world about it.

theres plenty of support forums on the net for people whos stuff is broken

nope, only one thing came up "why does ubuntu freeze"

this would seem suggest that people have far fewer problems with ubuntu, however if you think about it for more than a few seconds you'll remember that far fewer people use ubuntu than vista. so it still doesn't really mean anything.
