pyTivo is an awesome program you can run on linux or windows to push video on to or pull vids off you TiVo. I'm currently using it on my XP box and importing videos from mythweb to transfer to my HD TiVo. It is not as tricky as MythTV to configure but there is some configuration required/lil bit o learnin curve.
