So I currently have 14 beans and this is my 22nd post. If I go to my profile, I will see 14 posts, not 14 beans nor 22 posts. Is this a bug or...? Should it not say either 14 beans or 22 posts? If I search for all of my posts, I will find 22 of them.
I know that beans and posts are not the same, but this makes it a little bit confusing. Any clarifications?

I know they don't and it makes more sense that they don't, b/c then you could be a top poster with all chatty posts, instead of helpful posts, but what I am saying is that when one goes to one's profile, it should display the correct number of beans or posts, but it seems that now it displays beans, even though it says posts.

On a vBulletin board such as this, an Admin can decide whether posts in a certain forum are counted in the post count or not. The post count in posts are shown minus posts in disallowed forums but the post count in profiles shows all posts since that releates to a search for all posts when the find all posts by user is used. It's the way a vBulletin board works. It's pretty common on many boards for chat forums which don't relate to the subject topic of the board to be configured so that posts are not counted. Posts or Beans - just a cosmetic change in the board theme and they both mean the same thing.
