Hi,

I made a iso dvd from my system (ubuntu 8.04) with remastersys.

I tried to have it running in VirtualBox

However, after an initial Ubuntu splah screen, I get this:

http://ubuntuforums.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=125223&stc=1&d=1250515038

What have I done wrong? Anything I need to tweak in VirtualBox? What will happen if I go for a real install?

Any suggestions welcome.

Update:

Tried it directly from the iso file on the hard drive, did exactly the same. I eliminate a faulty DVD from the possible error source.

Just another update:

Have another 6 flavors in VB, which all perform quite fine....

Just hoping every bit helps....

Hi,

just trying to load the dvd on a real PC. Guess what - same error. That would mean it is not a visualisation error but a remastersys error.

Also get Buffer I/O errors - if that helps....

Maybe somebody can help now...

Made my remastersys dvd as shown in psychocats. Any ideas?

You reckon it would make a difference if I delete the group vboxusers before I make my iso DVD?

Hallo - somebody out there?...

On we go...

Deleted group "vboxusers" and redid remastersys. I still get that error.

Remastersys is not happening for me - clearly. Any other way to get a re-distributable iso from my particular setup without my personal files?
