I can only ssh into my system as the account I created when I installed the system (andrew). I can use password or key authentication.
However, when I try to ssh into the system as my usual account (David) I always get "password denied," even though I am positive I am using the correct password. It also ignored the fact I have a matching dsa key for the David account stored in authorized_keys (I tried that auth method after password didn't work). Suggestions?
Both andrew and David are in the adm and ssh groups, and I added andrew,David to an AllowUsers line in sshd_config.
And as a side note, I assume this doesn't matter, but I am ssh'ing into Ubuntu Server 8.04 with the ubuntu-desktop package installed.
