Need Help installing OOTP

Hey everyone,

I have downloaded ootp and I am trying to install.

The directions from the ootp manual (which is online) say that once I extract the tar file I should see a file called ootpbaseballinstaller.

All I see when I extract is a file called ootp10linuxsetup.

When I click on that ootp...setup file I get an error message saying it isn't a folder and can't be opened. I have tried marking it as an executable and that doesn't do anything to help.

I solved this problem with the weirdest fix that I read from an ootp forum...

All I had to do was create a "tmp" folder within my home folder. I extracted everthing there and set the file as executable.

Weird, but lets see if I can now play the game.
