I don't seem to have all my disk space

Hi.
I recently update ubuntu from dells 8.04LTS to 9.04 netbook remix. However whenever I looked to see how much disk space I had it is saying that I only have 10gb available. I know for a fact that I got the 16gb ssd.
Any help would be very nice.

Err. Well ubuntu itself takes up a few gigs, and there is also the swap partition to factor in.
