Hello. Ive recently aquired linux ubuntu. I wasnt even any good at windows either so i have little knowledge on why things in stuff dont work.

Ive managed to install wine and guild wars factions. I managed to install it and get the updates and stuff. The home log in screen looks fine. i can select my charachter. how ever i load the map but when its 100% it freezes on the load screen just before it should go into game.

At first i couldnt see anything as i hadnt installed drivers so eventually after a few hours of tinkereing about I found the hardware drivers thing in system and got the recommended drivers for the graf card i had. This allowed me to see graphics on the home screen and start loading of maps.

I dont have a clue on where to go from here, on how to get past that last step.

Any help would be much appreciated.
