Hi All

It's the third time my network disappears

The two previous times I reinstalled everything

But there must be something more IQ wise

Modem OK
Ubuntu 9.10 show the black network icon OK (no read spot on it)
A second PC also Ubunto works fine on the same DSL modem

Mozilla says not OFFLINE

SYSTEM > ADMINISTRATOR > network is light grey and cannot be changed
or something

and now that I write I see on the same display that I have to OK add the network

so I do and then mozilla nop and sais I have to reboot
so I do and OK

BUT HOW or WHY SUCH A THING HAPPENS ?

Is your network wired or wireless?

Try to reboot your computer.

so I do and OK

does this mean it works after the reboot?? do you get a "device not managed" error?
