View Full Version : Myth not working for Epia boards?

I found a few scattered posts around about Epai boards not working with 0.21. Is this true? I've been thinking of updating my packages, but I have 2 Epia frontends and I really don't want to have to purchase new hardware.
Can anyone confirm/deny what I've read, or offer some more light on the subject?
Thanks in advance.

I had an EPIA board, (1GHz, I think), and whilst Myth 0.21 (Mythbuntu 8.04) 'worked' for me, it was a bit slow - I couldn't get XVMC to work properly, but I guess that's an Nvidia problem and VDPAU fixes that for newer cards anyway.

So basically, Myth itself worked fine, I think the board was just a little under-powered, SD playback would get juddery sometimes.

My experience, FWIW.
