I have the Canoscan LiDE 100 scanner , which is not supported by sane. However, I found in the wiki
(https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ScanningHowTo) that a possible solution would be using the firmware file. But I cannot find this file using the site's advice. Could you help please finding it?

Thanks for your help, but I didn't find any firmware files in there. I have looked even in WinXP machines with the driver installed for the *fw or *usb file, but I don't find it. Does anyone know where this file should be located?
