cedega trial won't start!

I thought before i spent the money on cedega i would give there trial ago. It installed fine and all my hardware passed. Then i went to install half life 2 it went ok. Then i closed cedega after all that was done. later i went to open cedega to play and i got the trial splash screen where it asks you to subscribe or play, i click play and nothing happends. That window just goes away and nothing. So am i missing something?
