wireless for dell optiplex gx240

I am a technical novice. I wish to install a wireless card into the Dell Optiplex GX240. Do I take out the fax modem card?

Short answer is only if you want to. they're seen as different cards by the system, so you can leave it in (unless you need the space, of course).
