A count to infinity. You may add as many numbers as you want, but only by 1s. So all nnumbers must show up. We keep going until someone determines the value of infinity, I approve it, and we reach it.
Post as much as you want as often as you can.

Nope, but you determined the value of infinity.

I could say: "This didn't take as long as I thought it would" but that would make people think that I underestimated their intelligence, or I could say: "This took longer than I expected" but that would confirm my previous point. Choose one and don't complain about it.:lolflag:

Anyway, now that the value of infinity has been determined, and I have approved it, we keep going until we reach it. We have a long way to go.

it is quite simple, i think that you are suggesting that people whi are bored (no ofence) may post as many numbers, but the value of infinity is hmmm... i think infinite, so hypothetically so i could write a number as large as i want but it still wouldn't be infinite, so...this will be a nice and long game

it is quite simple, i think that you are suggesting that people whi are bored (no ofence) may post as many numbers, but the value of infinity is hmmm... i think infinite, so hypothetically so i could write a number as large as i want but it still wouldn't be infinite, so...this will be a nice and long game

Well, I've already edited a very long post. I'll close without second thoughts if needed.

OK, lets call this over and have it finished.
I wasn't as fun as I thought it would be.

Anyway, to bring something up for discussion, I'd like to hear what your opinions are on billions and trillions.
Here is what I mean:
President Obama (and other politicinas) talk about billions and trillions ammounts of money, but for example, when they say 234 billion, they are actually meaning
234,000,000,000
not
234,000,000,000,000

In my opinion, and as the prefix states, bi-llion menas a million millions, so 1,000,000,000,000
since a million is 1,000,000 then I would be correct.
1,000,000,000 would just be one-thousand million.

So what they call trillions, are actually just billions.

My measurements:
Milion >> 1,000,000
Billion >> 1,000,000,000,000
Trilliion >> 1,000,000,000,000,000,000

'Politically correct' ones:
Million >> 1,000,000
Billion >> 1,000,000,000
Trillion >> 1,000,000,000,000

I have consulted with math professors and they aregue with me, but wiki says both methods are 'legal'

here is the link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Long_and_short_scales

Anyway, my opinion is, that the 'short scale' is just sort of lying.

It's just two different conventions. Historically a British billion was one million million, whereas an American billion was one thousand million. The American version has become the default.
