Ok, I have reinstalled, over and over. and nothing seems to be working. Here's what I'm doing....

Typical Jaunty install, when it reboots, using the wireless tool on the top bar to connect to dlink, which it automatically finds.
I then open terminal, and run pppoeconf, connect, check the log, and access the internet....

That all works fabulously, both when I boot from cd, and with a fresh install.
Now, here's the issue:

When I restart, whether from a shut down, restart or what have you, Dlink is no longer available, and in the place that once said wireless network, there is
"device not managed"
I tried the iwlist scanning, and it doesn't seem to work, it seems like its connected, but then when I try to run my pppoe, it wont connect.

This is really, really frustrating me, as everything works from cd, and on a fresh install

what is happening when I restart it? Can I prevent it, or undo it?
Do I need to install drivers for my dish?

Thanks so much for any feedback
