View Full Version : [ubuntu] Nortong commander/dos navigator look a like

In the old dos ages I frequently used Norton Commander and Dos Navigator to have text based interface for browsing arround files and folders and opening them.
Is there anything that has the same function for Ubuntu Server, so in terminal window?

Try "mc", midnight commander.

sudo apt-get update ; sudo apt-get install mc ; sudo apt-get autoclean ; mc

GNOME commander is in the repositories. It is also very good.
