I have ruined my server

Hello,

I have ruined my server and would like to know if there is any way of resetting an installation. I have tried to search.

It is VPS, and I would rather reset it somehow than bother the providers. They don't expect a noob like me to use their services and go borking their setups constantly so I'd rather not give them the hassle :P

I just wish there was an easy way I could reset my mess to the default installation!

You are giving too few details to get some help.

But I think your best shot is to call the provider and ask for a reinstall of your server.
