I've got a Dell laptop with Ubuntu 9.04. I'm running NVIDIA proprietary drivers with TwinView.
On four occasions now, I have left my workstation locked and returned to find it un-locked. Each time the 'Update Manager' application has launched with new updates.
I can't say for sure whether the workstation would have been locked manually or by the screen saver. I looked around in /var/log and saw no nothing out of the ordinary.
This issue is difficult to reproduce. I welcome advice how I can invoke Update Manager to attempt to reproduce this, or any particular log files I should check.
