I am just getting to know the world of networking and ran across something interesting, an OB Switch. Could anyone educate me on this type of switch? I'm just looking for an explanation in a nutshell. I know what a switch is, but this OB Switch is killing my curiosity! Also, will this OB Switch be compatible with an Ubuntu Server?

I was told that "OB" stands for "Out of Band."

Thanks for the link. I have read all the key notes, but to be honest, it's kind of like reading Chinese, and I don't speak Chinese:( I'm going to do some more searching and see what I find. Thanks for the help:popcorn:
