How to uninstall Xubuntu?

How do I uninstall Xubuntu and give the whole HD back to Mac OSX? Would I have to wipe out the hard drive, reformat it and reinstall Mac OSX? I started Xubuntu off the live CD, deleted the Linux partitions, did not succeed in resizing the Mac partitions neither with Gparted nor with OSX's DiskUtility.

did you formate the partition that had Xubuntu on it or is there just free space there now?

you can use gparted to delete all of the linux partitions, then in OS X use Disk Utility to resize the hard drive back into the free space you created with gparted
