I tried to record voice using sound recorder, but it is not playbacked. But normally the playback (like for songs) is good. I think the problem is in configuring mic.
Can anyone help me in Configuring my internal Microphone.
Using Latitude D530 with Ubuntu 8.04
Thanks

One thing you can do is go to "Preferences>Sound" and under Audio Conferencing there should be a dropdown menu that says "Sound CaptureP and gives you a number of devices to select. Just go through the list and try each one. There should be a button on the right that says "Test". Press it after you select each device and once you're able to hear yourself you know you found the right one.
