hey everyone, new to the ubuntu experience and so far its been very positive.

I have a dell mini 9 Intel ® Atom(TM) Processor N270 (1.60GHz, 533MHz, 512K cache)
512MB 533MHz Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM
4GB Solid State Hard Drive
Integrated Intel® Graphic Media Accelerator 950

its running ubuntu 9.04 netbook remix.

I upgraded the ram to 1GB, but anyways onto my issue...

I have installed the latest flash player ( atleast I think I went to adobes site and got it ) and when I watch online streaming videos ( hulu, youtube ) the audio comes in fine but the video skips/lags. Is there any way to fix this problem, or is it a issue of my hardware not being good enough ( my old dell laptop had pretty much the same specs and it worked fine, it also had XP ) ?

if there is a soultion I may need some easy to follow instructions as I am completly new to the linux universe, thanks in advance for any help!

I had trouble getting Flash to load right from adobe's site.
had better luck searching for the right one in add/remove programs on ubuntu.

You might try that.
