Anyone know if the next Ubuntu release will include Virtual Box v3.0 or higher?

Not pre-installed. What's in the repo's right now is v2.14 for Ubuntu 9.04. Virtualbox.org is several releases into 3.x, which adds SMP support to virtual machines, and which is my main reason for looking. I am wondering if the next Ubuntu release will bring in one of these 3.0+ versions into the repo's, or if it will be a pre-3.0 Virtualbox release.
(I have a history in IT/configuration management, which has given me a reluctance to experiment on production machines. I can get Virtualbox directly from them, but it has not gone through whatever compatibility testing, etc. that Ubuntu does before adding it to a repo)

The next version does indeed come with 3.0 in the repos, if you install the Alpha testing version of Ubuntu right now you can also install Virtual Box v3.0, I don't advise it tho because it's still a bit unstable, wait till the RC or the official release.
