High I am a Ubuntu newbie here so please excuse me if this is a silly question. I have just installed ubuntu 9.04. I now want to add my microsoft bluetooth mouse as well as I find it difficult using the touchpad. I am able to add my mouse using the bluetooth device manager but after pairing with it the mouse does not seem to work. However I get the device sucessfully paired message but the mouse still does not work. The mouse is a microsoft 5000 bluetooth device. It works perfectly on Xp as well. If anyone could please help me out I would be most grateful.
Cheers

I've never tried pairing a bluetooth mouse, but I would recommend trying the program "blueman" instead of the included bluetooth utility in Ubuntu, I think it's much better.

Look here for info on 9.04.

It's a good one to bookmark.
