Hello all I am currently running Ubuntu 9.04 on a system with an Intel Celron 2.93 ghz Processor 1 gig of ram and a Radeon 9200 Pro video card. I have updated the system's java files and I've copied the entire World of Warcraft folder and Opened the wow.exe by right clicking and opening with Wine. I have every setting configurable on the very lowest setting but I am getting horrible 1-2 frame per second rates. I have tried updating my video card with drivers from the ATI website and the ADD/REMOVE window but both give me a system locking graphic glitch. I have however restored the system by removing the glitching drivers and I've tried to add the lines to use opengl but that makes my screen trippyier than a Cheech and Chong movie on lsd.. And I've checked, according to Ubuntu it says my video card is working with opengl so I'm guessing it is a glitch. I've also tried coping other peoples suggestions from various forums into the config.wtf file and making regedit changes for the opengl. This has been a problem ever since I started with Ubuntu but I'm hoping if Windows can do it Ubuntu will do it better. Please help.

Thanks in advance,
Jeremy

What WINE version? (Be glad you get _FPS_ at all with that video card)

Going to have to agree with tux0r, that is such an old card that it was not up to system requirements of WoW back in wow launch(2004) sorry :(
